HOW TO CONFIGURE JAVA ON WINDOWS

I discovered that a lot of programmers who are new into programming finds it quite difficult to configure java. So today I will be teaching you how to configure java (jdk) after installation.

Make sure you have jdk (java development kit) on your pc. Run the installation and accept all terms and conditions.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO HAVE YOUR JAVA CONFIGURED

1. Locate your Java folder at local disc c:/ or where ever you installed it.

Locate your java folder.

1. open java folder and open the first folder named with jdk. click on bin and copy

the file extension name you should see something like this

3. Open my computer and click on properties.

4. At the top left, click on advanced system settings

5. Click on environment variables

6. Select "Path" and click on edit

7.Paste the file extensions that you copied at the begining of the text file and click "OK",
